About Me

Hi, I'm Rachel Cougan.

Before starting Possible Consultants, I spent more than 20 years leading People strategy inside fast-growing companies.

I have led People strategy inside high-growth companies and now work directly with founders, executives, and investors to help them build strong teams and healthy organizations.

Most of my work involves wrangling the complexity that comes with growth — from compensation frameworks and performance systems to leadership structure and organizational design. My approach has been shaped by extensive experience guiding leaders through pivotal transitions, high-growth periods, challenging restructures, and complex organizational changes. I'm a genuinely curious person and I'm not afraid to offer a strong dose of candor -- which helps us explore options, cut through the noise, and make progress.
